Our History...

Henderson Brothers has a long history in the region and in the insurance business, tracing back to 1893. Our firm was founded by two industrious brothers – named Henderson. One of the brothers worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and saw the need for an insurance agency to serve the booming river industry around Pittsburgh and the tri-state region.

Ownership passed from the Henderson brothers in the 1930s, but the company has remained a family-owned business, and today we are in our third generation.

Over the past 116 years, what has never changed is our dedication to the needs and concerns of our customers. Every day, we live up to our heritage of serving and protecting individuals and companies throughout the region – you have our name on it.
